November 19-20 Ride
Mr. Weatherman was very kind to us again!  What a beautiful weekend to spend in the desert with 20 of our best friends.  The moon even smiled down on us for our evening pleasure.  After a long day in the saddle, we relaxed around the firepit with the wonderful aroma of deep fried turkey, dressing, and all the usual Thanksgiving trimmings.  What a feast!  You know, even if you don’t enjoy riding, you should come for the food!  Sunday’s ride was not as long and Thom took us to a great lunch stop, complete with grass and water for the horses.  It seems that one horse loved it so well that he got down and rolled in the grass.  That sure is hard on the ole saddle!  I hate it when they do that!

The National Trail Ride committee have been hard at work getting the trails marked.  A few of us have been there so much that we’re thinking of having our mail delivered there!  We’ll be busy cleaning up some of the trails we’ll be using.  This promises to be one of the best rides yet!  It is filling up fast, so get those registrations in!  This will be one ride you won’t want to miss.

Don’t forget our annual Christmas party December 10-11.  Bring a wrapped unisex gift for the gift exchange.  Horse water is on-site. Rides start at 9:30 Saturday and Sunday.  Don't forget the Saturday nite potluck!  More turkey and dressing!  Bring the trimmings.  Please call or email me to let me know what you're bringing.  Judy-623 465-1234 or judikay99@yahoo.com.

      See ya there!
