2008 Calendar

Feb. 15, 16, 17 & 18:  7th Annual National Trail Ride.
  Location:  Bumblebee Ranch North of Phonenix   Exit 248 Off I-17

Ride facilities:
Camp at the Historic Bumblebee Ranch! Great amenities, including a house available for rent complete with Jacuzzi! Other amenities include: covered pavilion & space heaters, restrooms, nice level camping spots. Please see their website: www.bumblebeeaz.com for more information.

Catered Meals-Friday, Saturday & Sunday (breakfast, lunch & dinner)
Monday-(breakfast & lunch only)

Entertainment: Sue Barr from New Mexico will entertain us with some great old-time country western music we all love! (bring your dancing boots!)
Raffle
Nightly socials either around campfire or in covered heated pavilion

Camp: horse water, restrooms, one shower and manure dump on site.

1. Cost for each attendee is $225, paid in full and sent with application!
The ranch will collect $10 per rig when you arrive for each day you will be
camping there. You may come early or stay after the ride if you wish! You may call the ranch at 623 374-0002 for more information.

2. Map to the ride will be mailed upon completion of the application processing.

3. Ride starts w/breakfast on Friday Feb 15 , ends w/lunch on Monday the 18th. You are encouraged to arrive no later than Thursday, Feb 14.

4. Please-dogs must be on leash or tied at your campsite, no dogs near the caterer’s area, no dogs on trail.

5. There are only a few trees to tie to. Don’t depend on being able to high-line.  There is a fence along the camping area. We are welcome to attach our Corrals to this fence if we wish. Just make sure to leave room at the hose bibs for other campers.

6. All adult riders must sign a release of liability when registering at the ride site.

7. Junior riders are under 18 years as of January 14, 2007 and must be accompanied on the trail at all times by a parent or guardian.

8. Application deadline is January 11, 2008. If the ride is filled before the deadline, applications received by January 11 will be put on a waitlist and applicants notified. They will be contacted if there is a cancellation. All openings will be filled by January 11 , at which time all remaining Applicants will be notified and their check will be returned. The ride is limited to 75 people.

9. Cancellations must be e-mailed or phoned only to Judy Kipen by Friday January 11 to be eligible for a refund of $225. No refunds or cancellations after that date. No refunds to people who do not show up.

10. For those who wish to invite another “guest” for dinner, we will allow this On Saturday nite ONLY for a charge of $30 per guest.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!

This will cover the charge of the dinner and entertainment. This has to be sent in with your application so we can give our caterer an accurate count.

11. Stallions will be allowed. However, the owner is responsible for any damages.

2007 Calendar

October 19 - 21:  Foxtrotter Clinic to be held at Miller Ranch, Scottsdale, Az. The clinic starts Friday at 6 pm in the covered arena. Saturday & Sunday each from 9 am - 5 pm. Participants in this seminar please contact Miller-Ranch  34011 N 136th S t. Scottsdale, Az 85262. Phone 480 683-2194 or 2106.  Price $150 per person with one horse.  Audit attendees: $25 per person Contact Clare Ross 928 776-4760. Horse boarding: $20/day hay and cleaning included

Parking for live-in trailer $15 per night.   Guesthouse at the ranch: $50-$70 per night double occupancy. The seminar is limited to ten (10) participants with horses, so get your reservations in soon!
