2006 National Trail Ride Survey Results
  
Now that everyone has had time to re-group, we'd like your opinion on a few issues.  Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey to help us next year.  You don't have to sign it if you don't want to.  Also feel free to add any comments you may have.

1. Location. Would you like to have the 2007 ride at the Wickenburg Rodeo Arena Again?

Comments:  5 said good location, 3 said would like to see other areas, other comments: Well set up, easy access, liked corrals on site, 2 said great riding, 1 said liked shopping, 1 said too spread out.

2. Speed of Ride. Was the 2006 ride (circle one)

 Too Fast: 1   Too slow:  0     Just right:  19

Comments:  Enjoyed fast pace thru the river, want 3 ride levels, fast, intermediate & slow

3. Length of Ride. Was the 2006 ride (circle one)

Too long:  4    Too short:  0    Just right: 18

Comments:  2 said 1st day too long, one said want 1 all day ride, 1 ½ day rides offered on 1st day, 1 said like long rides, 1 said should be 3 hours and up, one said 5-6 hours is good. 

4. Did you receive good communication from Committee members?

Comments: Want info as soon as available.  Members were wonderful, helpful and accommodating.  2 said committee did great job. 

5. Did you receive adequate information about the ride?

6. Is there any activity you would like to have included next year?

Yes:  7     No:  12

Comments:  Fun day - on site games.  Dance.   2 said training demo.  More interactive activity.  Trail Course.  Everything was very nice.  Participants bring a raffle item from their home state.  Cowboy music.  Introductions.  More interaction between participants.  Quicker raffle.  Would enjoy something different, less strenuous on last day. 

7. Ride Terrain: Was any part of 2006 ride too difficult for you or your horse? (circle one) Yes or No. If Yes, please elaborate:

Comments:  Great.  Too steep and rocky.  2 said narrow steep trail.  Shorter Sunday ride.  This is what Foxtrotters do best.

Comments:  Limit to two rides.  Someplace warm.  Garner Canyon or Sedona.  Southern Arizona. Dragoons, Santa Ritas or Catalinas.
